Spencer

Spencer is an adoptable male Cairn Terrier looking for a home at NYC ACC-Manhattan in New York, New York. He is fully grown and small in size. Spencer has been tense and have a lower tollerance for handling. During his assessment ended early after he snapped at the assessor. Outside of the kennel, Spencer has been observed to be non reactive to dogs and people. Medically, Spencer arrived to us matted and an ingrown dew claw. These concerns have been treated and Spencer is otherwise healthy. Spencer arrived at MACC as a stray with no known history. While in care, he has been observed to be fearful. Noted to growl and vocalize before charging towards the handler. Due to the detailed behavior, we recommend an experienced adult only home.
