Atlas is an adoptable male American Staffordshire Terrier looking for a home at San Antonio Animal Care Services in San Antonio, Texas. He is a young adult and medium in size. He is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list and today is the last day, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Atlas, or even sharing his story, could save a life before it's too late.

Evaluation Notes: 09/16/2026 - Upon approach, dog is laying in kennel with a relaxed body. He displays sociability with me by coming over to greet with a tense body, pinned ears and a low tail where he is interested in treats offered to him. He is easy to leash and walk outside where he walks slowly on leash. He displays sociability with all handlers by greeting with a tense body, pinned ears and a low tail. He is easy to return to kennel.
