Shy

Shy is an adoptable male American Staffordshire Terrier looking for a home at DeKalb County Animal Services in Chamblee, Georgia. He is a young adult and large in size. He is listed on the shelter's euthanasia list, listed due to lack of space, and that date has now passed. Shelters often move these dates, so Shy may still be waiting. The shelter can confirm.

When you meet Shy, you will see that he's not at all shy anymore. When he arrived at the shelter, he must have felt like his world was upside down. Now, thanks to volunteers who have worked with him Shy is friendly with the dogs on the other side of the fence and has confidence! He's easy to leash and friendly. Shy knows the command for Sit, and is a big love of a guy. When he had his pictures taken he had so many toys to play with, and chose them all! He ran excitedly across the yard, hopped onto a lounge and plucked a toy duck off the the grass! Shy is a fun dog with lots of energy and a new JOY for life! Come meet him, take him home and give him a name that matches his new personality!
