Ethan is an adoptable male Staffordshire Bull Terrier looking for a home at BARC Animal Shelter in Houston, Texas. He is a young adult and medium in size. Age: The shelter staff think I am about 8 months old. More Info: I have been at the shelter since Jul 28, 2026. I am in kennel SOUTHB30. Weight: 33.2 lbs Intake Date: 7/28/2026 ⸻ 🩺 MEDICAL NOTES: After being treated for an upper respiratory infection/CIRD with doxycycline, his URI has resolved. On 8/23, staff noted no URI symptoms, and he was cleared to leave the treatment area. ❤️ Heartworm negative 💉 Vaccinated & dewormed ✂️ Neutered 8/5 ⸻ 🐾BEHAVIOR NOTES: Ethan is a sweet, gentle puppy. He has greeted staff with a wiggly body, soft eyes and fast-wagging tail and is described as loose and relaxed. His notes repeatedly say he walks nicely on a loose leash. In his kennel, Ethan is remarkably calm and quiet'staff often find him curled up asleep on his bed. After walks, he happily returns to his kennel and settles right back down.
