Muffin is an adoptable female Staffordshire Bull Terrier looking for a home at BARC Animal Shelter in Houston, Texas. She is fully grown and medium in size. She is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list and today is the last day, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Muffin, or even sharing her story, could save a life before it's too late.

Located At: BARC Animal Shelter & Adoptions Description: My name is Muffin. I am a female, black and white Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Age: The shelter staff think I am about 6 years old. More Info: I have been at the shelter since Aug 23, 2026. I am in kennel DA38. Weight: 44 lbs Intake Date: 8/23/2026 ⸻ 🩺 MEDICAL NOTES: Muffin was noted as medically normal at intake. She is heartworm negative and has received her rabies, DA2PP and Bordetella vaccines, dewormer and Advantage Multi. ⸻ 🐾BEHAVIOR NOTES: Muffin was described as 'very wiggly' during intake and has been consistently easy to leash. She walks to the runs on a semi-tight leash and can be redirected with treats. The kennel environment appears challenging for Muffin around other dogs. She has been documented lunging/pulling toward neighboring dogs, particularly as dogs pass her kennel.
