Blue is an adoptable male Staffordshire Bull Terrier looking for a home at BARC Animal Shelter in Houston, Texas. He is fully grown and medium in size. Located At: BARC Animal Shelter & Adoptions Description: My name is Blue. I am a male, gray Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix. Age: The shelter staff think I am about 6 years old. More Info: I have been at the shelter since Aug 24, 2026. I am in kennel DC18. Weight: 52.8 lbs Intake Date: 8/24/2026 ⸻ 🩺 MEDICAL NOTES: Blue tested HIGH POSITIVE for heartworms. He has received his DA2PP, Bordetella and rabies vaccines, dewormer and Advantage Multi. ⸻ 🐾BEHAVIOR NOTES: Blue appears to be extremely frightened and overwhelmed in the shelter environment. At intake, he was timid, trembling and flinching. During his medical workup, his fear was very evident. On 8/26, despite still being visibly scared, staff noted that Blue was easy to leash.
