Ozu is an adoptable male Staffordshire Bull Terrier looking for a home at BARC Animal Shelter in Houston, Texas. He is a young adult and medium in size. More Info: I have been at the shelter since Aug 17, 2026. I am in kennel SOUTHA26. Weight: 53.6 lbs Intake date: 8/17/2026 ⸻ 🩺 MEDICAL NOTES: Ozu had no medical concerns noted. He is heartworm negative and received DA2PP, Bordetella, rabies vaccination, deworming, pyrantel and Advantage Multi. Ozu is listed as neutered in his current record. ⸻ 🐾BEHAVIOR NOTES: Ozu has repeatedly greeted staff with a wagging tail, loose/wiggly body, soft face and happy feet. He is generally easy to leash and has frequently walked on a loose or semi-loose leash. Outside, he has been observed happily running, sniffing and minding his own business. He also takes treats gently from the hand and will sit expectantly for them. Earlier notes documented him ignoring neighboring dogs, but recently he has been barking at some dogs.
