Latte is an adoptable female Pit Bull Terrier looking for a home at Philadelphia Animal Care and Control in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is senior and medium in size. Meet Latte, a sweet senior girl who is ready to spend her golden years being loved and spoiled! Latte is an absolute sweetheart who has quickly won over the staff and volunteers lucky enough to spend time with her. She is easy to leash, walks beautifully on a loose leash, and happily walks right back into her kennel when it's time to go home. She loves getting attention from her people and will even jump up for some extra pats. Despite being a senior, Latte still has a playful, silly side and can get rowdy when she's having fun! Latte is a social girl who enjoys spending time with both people and other dogs. She has spent time hanging out in an office and was loose and social with visitors, and she has been described as curious, friendly, and tolerant during her dog meets. When meeting other dogs, she is generally relaxed and wiggly, happily approaches for a sniff, and is very respectful about giving them space. She has even participated in playgroups, where her playful side really comes out'she can be a little grumbly and rowdy when she's having a good time, but she's also very tolerant and social. Latte may have a few extra medical needs to consider as she looks for her next home. She has mammary masses as well as a mass on her right hind leg, so her adopter should be prepared to continue her veterinary care and follow-up. She may also have some hearing loss, but that hasn't stopped her from enjoying her time with people and exploring her surroundings. Latte is the kind of dog who reminds you that the best things in life really do get better with age. She's sweet, affectionate, social, easy to walk, and still has plenty of playful spirit left in her. What she needs now is a loving home where she can relax, receive plenty of cozy naps and cuddles, and enjoy the golden years she deserves. Mid tail, hackles raised and ears to the side when greeting face to face. Attempted to hump sandy multiple times, staff steered away. Per staff 8/15/26: Used for multiple dog meets. At fence, tail high and wagging, soft and squinty eyes, loose and wiggly body. In yard, similar behaviors. She will go up to dogs, sniff and then move away on her own or with the smallest amount of leash pressure. Also very tolerant of other dogs sniffing her, will slowly walk away and make space between. Per staff 8/15/26: Regarding meet with Chase Boy: Curious, friendly, loose Per staff 8/15/26: sleeping in kennel (may be partially or fully deaf?)- slowly came forward with low wagging tail, easy to leash. Walks on a loose leash, stops and sniffs often along the walk. Not eating treats. Met Marley, loose, tolerant, social. Hanging in my office for the afternoon, loose and social with visitors. Leveling at green. Per staff 8/14/26: hard barking when I approached. once i got closer with the leash she loosened up.
