She is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list with only 3 days left, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Texas, or even sharing her story, could save a life before it's too late.

Texas has a gentle side and a whole lot of love to share once she feels comfortable. She takes treats beautifully, knows sit, and enjoys getting pets and spending time with her people. She's also a lovely walking companion who generally walks with minimal pulling and is happy to follow your lead on outdoor adventures. Texas has a medium-to-low energy level and enjoys a relaxed stroll just as much as showing off her playful side with a few happy zoomies! Texas can be a little shy when meeting new people or experiencing unfamiliar situations, so she appreciates a patient approach and the chance to warm up at her own pace. Once she feels comfortable, her sweet personality really starts to shine! She has met another dog, but the interaction was inconclusive, so any future introductions should be handled thoughtfully and at a pace that keeps everyone comfortable. If you're looking for a sweet companion who enjoys gentle affection, tasty treats, and a little time to stop and smell the roses, Texas could be your girl! With patience, consistency, and a loving home where she can settle in at her own speed, this adorable pup is ready to show you just how special she can be.
